Al Arabiya’s Chief International Anchor and Host of “The Hadley Gamble Show”

Hadley Gamble has over two decades of experience in TV news, most recently as CNBC’s Anchor and Senior International Correspondent covering energy, geopolitics, and financial markets.

Hadley was the last Western journalist to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin and the first member of the international press to interview a member of Ukraine’s government just hours after Russian troops crossed the border into Ukraine.  She has covered the Russia-Ukraine conflict from Brussels to Kyiv to Moscow, including a high-profile spat with Russia’s foreign minister over the direct bombing of maternity wards and hospitals in Ukraine.

Beyond geopolitics, Hadley regularly puts her knowledge of finance and global affairs to work, sitting down with leaders from big business at public and private conferences around the world. Her interview with Credit Suisse Chairman Axel Lehmann in 2023 moved financial markets and precipitated the sale of the bank to rival UBS.  Hadley has spent over a decade covering energy markets, speaking regularly to OPEC’s Secretary General and reporting live from countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and UAE.

Hadley is a columnist for Semafor and a regular contributor to LBC Radio, GB News, Times Radio and the Daily Mail.

Hadley has spent over a decade reporting from the World Economic Forum in Davos, moderating panels and fireside chats with some of the most powerful people on the planet. She is a regularly featured speaker at the Munich Security Conference, sitting down with the likes of Bill Gates, EU President Ursula Von Der Leyen, U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham and German Chancellor Olaf Schultz to name a few.  In 2022, Hadley opened the NATO Summit in Madrid, speaking to Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the future of the conflict and how NATO nations planned to avert energy disaster. 

Hadley’s range of feature guests most recently included His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Kahn, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. 

She is a passionate advocate for women’s advancement in the workplace and the world. Hadley moderated the first ever women’s business forum in Saudi Arabia and reported live on the ground as the Kingdom lifted it’s decades-old driving ban for women. Her coverage of Saudi’s cultural revolution from the announcement of Vision 2030 to today has been one of the highlights of her career.

Hadley was the first international journalist to report live from Saudi Aramco following the September 14 terror attacks that knocked production offline by millions of barrels per day. She was also the first journalist to speak live to a Saudi official following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. 

An experienced journalist, Hadley has worked for CNBC, as well as ABC News and Fox News in Washington, DC producing news programs and covering national and international political events, including the 2008 Presidential Debates, Election Night 2008 and the Inauguration of US President Barack Obama.
